About the workshop
Tucson, Arizona
The ranch metaphysics workshop is an immersive philosophy conference that takes place at the White Stallion Ranch, a family-run dude ranch in the Sonoran desert at the foot of the Tucson Mountains. Sessions run in the mornings and afternoons; horseback riding, hiking, group meals, fun activities, and unhurried conversation are all part of the program.
Papers circulate in two formats. Pre-reads are read in advance and discussed intensively at the session; presentations are delivered with a shorter Q&A. Every session has a commentator and a chair.
